Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform

A multi-tenant SaaS has to keep payments consistent under concurrent checkouts and keep every tenant's data and users separate - in direct requests, not only in what the interface shows. RemSoft.Dev develops the client's platform with ConnectOtherAIs, the review gate of Dew Flow, reviewing the work. Four successive code-review rounds examined checkout idempotency and compensation for orphaned sessions, and each round reviewed the fixes made in response to the one before: the corrections added atomic claim-before-expire behavior, concurrency arbitration and a missing redirect-URL check, backed by SQL Server regression tests. Review also found a write path that could assign a user from another tenant despite the checks in the picker; the team added server-side eligibility enforcement, and a follow-up review extended it to changing the role of an existing row. Finally, a reviewer spotted an encoding problem that had corrupted 31 Spanish resource entries - the existing tests only checked that keys were present, so a new regression test now detects the corruption pattern and the entries were repaired.

Key Challenges

Client: Multi-tenant SaaS company

Product: SaaS with billing and social-platform integrations

Review: ConnectOtherAIs - successive code rounds

Stack: .NET, SQL Server

The project faced several key challenges:

  • Concurrent checkouts: Two checkouts racing for one session must not both win. Four review rounds hardened claim, expiry and arbitration.
  • Tenant separation on writes: The picker only showed eligible users, but a direct request could assign someone from another tenant. Enforcement moved to the server.
  • Tests that miss what users see: Localization tests checked keys, not text. A new test catches corrupted characters in 31 Spanish entries.

Results

  • Checkout idempotency and orphaned-session compensation hardened
  • Server-side tenant eligibility for assigning users
  • Role changes on existing rows protected
  • Corrupted Spanish translations detected and repaired
  • SQL Server-backed regression tests

4 rounds

of successive review hardened checkout concurrency.

2 write paths

closed against cross-tenant assignment.

31 entries

of corrupted Spanish text caught and repaired.
