1. Who is responsible for your data
This website is run jointly by the two providers trading as RemSoft.Dev. They decide together how personal data on this website is processed and are joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR:
- Markiian Podliashetskyi, sole trader, Wolfsaugasse 10, 1200 Vienna, Austria
- Oleksandr Dubyna, self-employed (autónomo), Emperador 40, 30709 Roldán, Murcia, Spain
They have agreed in writing who handles what. For every data protection question or request, write to contactus@remsoft.dev. You may also contact either of them directly; your request will be handled either way. Full details are in our Impressum.
2. Visiting this website
When you open a page, our web server automatically records technical data your browser sends: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. We need this to deliver the website, keep it secure and find errors (legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest. To protect the contact form against abuse, the number of submissions per IP address is counted in memory for five minutes; it is not stored.
We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising cookies or social media plugins. Fonts and all other files are served from our own server, so opening our pages does not contact any third party.
3. Cookies
The contact form sets one technically necessary cookie that protects it against forged submissions; it contains no personal profile and is deleted when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, it does not require your consent and no cookie banner is shown.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, email address, subject (optional) and message. If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your email. We use this data only to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare an offer or contract (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps before a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer you.
Form messages are stored in our website's protected admin area. Our email correspondence with you is handled in our company mailboxes (see section 5).
We delete your message once your request is completed and no further contact is expected, at the latest 12 months after our last exchange. If your request leads to a contract, we keep the related correspondence as long as commercial and tax law requires (in Austria up to seven years).
5. Service providers we use
We use the following processors. Each processes data only on our instructions under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR):
- Hosting: IONOS Cloud S.L.U., Avenida de la Vega 1, 28108 Alcobendas (Madrid), Spain. The website, its database and its backups are stored on servers in an IONOS data centre in the European Union.
- Email: Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft currently stores our mailboxes in data centres in Europe. Microsoft may also process data outside the EU, including in the USA; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and by the EU standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
6. Backups
To protect against data loss, we keep backup copies of the website's database for no longer than 14 days, so data deleted from the website also disappears from the backups within that time.
7. Links to other websites
Our pages contain plain links to other websites, for example LinkedIn and Clutch. No data is sent to them until you click such a link; after that, the privacy policy of the other website applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Write to contactus@remsoft.dev.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at. You can also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
