Startup-Investor Platform

The platform's idea is to bridge the gap between startups and investors by leveraging connectors: individuals or organisations with extensive networks. RemSoft.Dev developed the back end as a RESTful API that combines classic and OData approaches, giving clients flexible, efficient data access and manipulation, and implemented the front end with Blazor WebAssembly on the newest .NET - fast, interactive web development in C# and HTML. A full team of twelve - team lead, three senior and four middle developers, PM, BA and QA - delivered the product on-premise in four months, in accordance with the client's requirements.

Key Challenges

Client: Startup-investor networking platform

Duration: 4 months

Team: 12 - team lead, 3 senior + 4 middle developers, PM, BA, QA

Infrastructure: On-premise

The project faced several key challenges:

  • Flexible data access: Investors and founders query the same data very differently - OData alongside REST gave both without duplicating endpoints.
  • A full product in four months: A large team working in parallel needed tight planning, a BA to keep requirements sharp and QA from the first sprint.
  • Betting on Blazor WebAssembly: Choosing the newest Microsoft front-end stack meant one language across the product and a fast, app-like UI.

Results

  • REST + OData API
  • Blazor WebAssembly front end
  • Delivered in 4 months
