A server rack in a data centre connected by streams of light to a cloud above

Cloud, DevOps & On-Premise

We set up and run the servers your software lives on, in the cloud or in your own building, so it stays fast, safe and online.

RemSoft.Dev designs, builds and migrates infrastructure on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, in your own data centre, or across both, and sets up the DevOps practice around it: CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes, Terraform and infrastructure as code, zero-downtime deployment, monitoring, and GPU servers for AI models that must stay on your premises. We have moved a high-load payment platform from overloaded on-premise servers to Azure, automated Sitecore delivery for a Nordic energy company, and run hybrid cloud and on-premise estates for IoT and sales platforms for years.

What is included

Infrastructure is delivered as code and documented, so your team can operate it after handover. Where an application is involved, the same engineers work on both - no gap between the app team and the ops team.

  • Architecture Environment design, networking, identity and cost-aware sizing - on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, your own hardware, or a hybrid.
  • Pipelines Build, test and release automation - Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy - with environments per role and versioned releases.
  • Containers & IaC Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform; reproducible environments for development, staging and production.
  • Migration, both ways On-premise to cloud, cloud back to on-premise, or a split between them - with a performance and security review before anything moves.
  • Private AI hosting GPU servers and runtimes for local models, sized for your workload - the infrastructure side of our Private & Local AI service.

Recent infrastructure work

  • Payment platform: overloaded on-premise to Azure, Octopus Deploy pipelines, role-based environments, security fixes
  • Energy company: Sitecore 8.2 → 9.2, Helix structure, full Azure DevOps CI/CD
  • Sales-tech SaaS: four years of hybrid AWS and on-premise operation
  • Water-quality IoT platform: AWS cloud plus on-premise edge, two years in production

Cloud or on-premise - which one?

Whichever the workload, the data and the budget call for. Cloud wins on elasticity; your own servers win when data may not leave, when GPU usage is constant, or when cloud bills have outgrown the value. Many systems end up hybrid. See it in practice: a payment platform rescued and moved to Azure, Sitecore and Azure DevOps automation for an energy company, a distributed firmware platform and IoT water-quality analytics. For AI models on your own hardware, see Private & Local AI.
